2nd April 2020 – I had a quick look at Tordino. Everything was fine, but when I was back home, my neighbour called me telling he removed my blueboard last Sunday during the storm. I had never noticed it…

28th March 2020 – It was getting windy and painting was no option. I painted the railing but had to stop. Since I was still aboard, I did some smaller jobs in the bathroom, kitchen and sleeping room.
In the afternoon, I went back to the Watergeus.
27th March 2020 – Maintenance doesn’t stop when the Corona virus is around. I went to Tordino to clean the stern and decks. Since there are no masks available for dust, I only managed to do a small bit. I painted it in the evening.
13th March 2020 – I had some time left in the morning and drove to Beernem. Because of the Corona virus, the museum is closed.
12th March 2020 – I mounted the light bulbs and the brackets for the televisions in the hold. Nearly ready!
The Keersluis is locked since yesterday and will remain locked until Saturday. I have an 86 meters ship next to me.
7th March 2020 – I checked my ship since the Keersluis is locked and then you always have some new neighbours. This time was no difference.
25th February 2020 – The electricity is connected in the converted part of the hold. The whole conversion is now finished and ready for cleaning. In less then two months, it was a nice project!
9th February 2020 – Working outside is impossible. To much wind. I worked aboard the Tordino moving models and decorating one wall. I want it right, with the correct information and photos next to the model.
31st January 2020 – While my mother was painting the walls, I built shelves for the ship models. It is starting to look like a museum again instead of a timber shop.
30th January 2020 – I had some more courses today for working with a digital collection system for Museumschip Tordino. Very soon, I will be visible on Erfgoed in Zicht. Besides the useful information you get, it is also part of networking.
