27th September 2022 – I did some scanning yesterday and continued today. After moving the library units, I didn’t want to put back the unscanned magazines, so all I can do now is scanning and scanning… Since it is raining, there are no other jobs to do anyway.
25th September 2022 – I put the remaining cupboards of the Library of the Watergeus in the library of Tordino. It gives an extra storage addition for new books. While rebuilding some parts of the library, I now also have much more space to add new items on Houten walen to the running exhibition.
In the afternoon, we cleaned some of the presentation boxes. Slightly preparing for the next summer!
25th September 2022 – A replica luxe motor barge passed by. It was the British ship Ascension.
23rd September 2022 – I found some time to do a few small jobs aboard Tordino. Two broken computer boxes were replaced, the library is cleaner again and a few lights were added or replaced. I made some space for new cupboards and that’s it for now…
22nd September 2022 – I was just in time to see the tug MarineQuest passing under Plassendale brug.
20th September 2022 – A not so often seen pleasure craft registered in Poland. The barge Csavargo passed by at lunch time.
11th September 2022 – It was a big success. A good amount of people came to see Tordino. Like every year many people who didn’t book tried to get in as well. This year, we tried to allow most of them to get to see the museum aboard Tordino.
8th September 2022 – The luxe motor Fryslan moved by.
29th August 2022 – While driving home I noticed a friend sailing along with his commercial barge.
27th August 2022 – De Pijl, a beautiful Luxe motor came from Nieuwpoort.
27th August 2022 – I had two major groups visiting Tordino this afternoon…
24th August 2022 – I took some time, in between converting our place, to work aboard Tordino. I did some scanning and put some books in the right shelves. It was slightly to warm to work, but It felt good to do at least something aboard…
