8th November 2021 – My neighbour convinced  me to put t&g. It is the only person I’ve met so far that likes t&g! Most people think I’m boring or to classical, but now someone knows what a real boat taste feels like!

I bought some t&g for the extension of the living room. The price has gone up with 5 EURO for a package. It is better to invest in wood then it is in Gold at the moment. One wall is nearly finished.

I also put a curtain between this new room and the rest of living room to avoid to have to much dust in my living part.

7th November 2021 – I cut out the wall between the old bedroom and the living room, making it one big area again.

6th November 2021 – It took us two people to remove the old mattress from the bedroom. At least I can now continue to dismantle the room.

5th November 2021 – After asking advice to two neighbours I continued with my plan to alter the back accommodation. I will strip down the second bedroom and turn it into an extension of the current living room. If friends want to stay, they will be able to sleep in the sofa!

3rd November 2021 – The second bookshelve is built. I ordered some light fittings for in between the corridor I created. I discovered some nice bulbs at one of my neighbours.

31st October 2021 – One of the two bookshelves were mounted and filled with books. I will need many more of the collection of books continues to grow.

29th October 2021 – I received a nice collection of books and documents of a local Pilot who used to work on the Schelde. A nice addition to the collection. Thankfully, I bought some extra bookshelves earlier this week.

27th October 2021 – Winter is coming. As every year, this is the period I’m working in the library aboard Tordino. This evening I went to Ikea and bought two extra bookshelves. This gives me space for another 200 books.

9th October 2021 – An old skipper came with a model of a sleepschip, like Tordino used to be. it was a great day!

29th September 2021 – Every evening, I make a walk along the canal. There  is always something new to see.

28th September 2021 – An early morning picture of the upcoming sun and Tordino…

26th September 2021 – When working in the evening, it is getting dark early. I mounted a work light on the gangway. So I can continue working in the evening.

I also finished cutting the grass around the ship. Looking clean again!

18th September 2021 – I made two benches for outside Tordino. They are far from finished, but I was already happy my machine got through the wood. 

15th September 2021 – Probably one the earliest pictures taken in the morning. I certainly want to add some more light to the Stern as well as to Tordino.
