24th June 2020 – There were a few articles in the local newspaper about dead fish and oxygen being pumped into the water. A lot of fish had died. I was a bit afraid what I might expect. When I arrived, people were swimming around my ship, but not a single fish was floating…

21st June 2020 – The old shipyard Minnewater in Bruges is being converted. In one of the warehouses was a small crane built with pieces from a barge. The crane will go to my museum in the near future.
20th June 2020 – Today I was in Dordrecht to pick up several paintings and objects for the museum. I can’t wait to open again 4th July 2020.
In the evening I went to see the Djoey which was still at the yard.
10th June 2020 – AIS was down for 24 hours, so I had a look and while I was there, I started cleaning the kitchen and living accommodation. All my stuff from the Stern were still unsorted under and on the table.
8th June 2020 – I put a cover over the Stern on the roof of the cabin. There was some water in it, but I want to keep the situation clean. I’m also afraid of the weight it might cause when the vlet is filled up with water.
3rd June 2020 – Aboard the Tordino is a plastic lifeboat. A common Janneau model I don’t like. It was already painted brown to look older, but today I had the chance of getting a riveted lifeboat with inboard engine and spare engine. The Antares came alongside and with a small davit, we managed to swap boats and had a coffee as well!
27th May 2020 – We have a neighbour for the night. While he moored alongside, we noticed it is very shallow underneath Tordino.
The Ludivine is a nice example of a Belgian Kempenaar. We were together at the yard two years ago…
20th May 2020 – While I had to pickup several items for the journey with the vlet, I did some smaller jobs in the museum.
I checked the engine and noticed when I opened the lid of the water expansion unit, water came out. I drained some five litres and will keep an eye to it before starting it somewhere next week. I had no time to run the engine.
3rd May 2020 – I went to check Tordino and had some time in the hold. Before I will be able to open the ship, it will need a god cleanup. I also dropped some furniture for making the accommodation more pleasant.
26th April 2020 – I a had an early visit in the morning because the AIS failed to give a signal and the evening I had to drive back for the same reason. I might consider replacing the GPS antenna if it continues like this.
While I was there in the evening, I cleaned the decks and noticed a lot of flaky paint. Time to do something as quick as possible.
24th April 2020 – There was no AIS signal since early in the morning. I had a look and needed to reset the device. Once it was working, I did a few small jobs aboard like mounting a light, putting a label on the ship and finishing the metal strips in the bathroom.
20th April 2020 – Since I couldn’t find the oil for the wheelhouse in the Watergeus, I had a look in Tordino. Everyhting was fine, but even here I couldn’t find it. At the end it was at my parents place…
14th April 2020 – I had to drive back to Tordino since I received no signal. One of the antennas felt down. Once it was fixed, I had signal again.
13th April 2020 – I quickly went to Tordino since I got a message of power failure. The neighbour had changed some fuses in his ship.
6th April 2020 – I drove to Tordino to pick up the blueboard and a piece of furniture. My mother wants to help, but she needs to stay inside. So I brought her those two items. While I was in Tordino, I brought some wood to finish the workshop.
